#CES2015 Speakers on Social: Using Apple Pay in iOS apps

Curious about how to use Apple Pay to accept payments in an iOS app?

International CES Speaker Kevin Harwood (@kevinharwoodof Mutual Mobile was one of many iOS pros who retweeted or favorited this tweet about a new post on NSHipster:

In the post, Stripe software developer Jack Flinterman provides an Apple Pay mini-tutorial that covers:

  • Obtaining an Apple Merchant ID
  • Making Your First Charge
  • Dynamic Shipping Methods and Pricing

The post includes screenshots and example code - even a simple app to fetch shipping rates (available on GitHub).

Aimed at developers, the post also is a good read for technically curious non-developers.

And while we're on the subject...

If you haven't seen Apple Pay in action yet, below is a good hands-on demo courtesy of The Verge:

WYSKR at International CES

  January 6-9, 2015

January 6-9, 2015

In the run-up to International CES, WYSKR kept an eye on the content being shared on social media by the event's speakers.  When that content received significant attention on social, WYSKR shared it with you.

Why?

Because great events curate great speakers, and great speakers know - and often share - great content when they see it.

A list of links to all of WYSKR's International CES content is now available via this post. Thanks for reading and let us know what you think!
