WYSKR Believes in Being Curious

I'm a big fan of Simon Sinek's very popular TED talk on "How Great Leaders Inspire Action":

As someone launching a start-up, I particularly like this line from his talk (at 5:40 in the video)

"The goal is not to do business with everyone who needs what you have. The goal is to do business with people who believe what you believe."

I think Sinek is right, so this is what WYSKR believes:

People are most engaged - and at their best - when they're being curious.

So WYSKR's goal is to do business with people who believe the same thing.

Why? There's abundant evidence that curiosity not only drives engagement, but that it's essential for success and fulfillment in both our personal and professional lives.

Both via this blog and the  @WYSKR Twitter account, I'll be sharing some of the best thinking I'm seeing on the significance of curiosity.

To kick things off, one of my favorite videos about curiosity is by Laura Crandall, who holds an Ed.M. from Harvard and is president of Slate Communication.
